Data Collection

Sleep Switch does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app does not require an account and does not include analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or third-party data collection tools.

How the App Works

Sleep Switch works locally on your Mac. When you turn the mode on, the app uses Apple's public macOS power-management APIs to ask macOS to prevent idle system sleep and idle display sleep. When you turn the mode off or quit the app, the app releases that request and macOS returns to your normal energy settings.

Network Access

The app does not need network access for its core function and does not make developer-operated network requests. Any App Store download, update, purchase, or App Analytics information is handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

Support Requests

If you contact support by email, you may choose to provide your email address and the contents of your message. This information is used only to answer your request, troubleshoot issues, and maintain support records. It is not sold or used for advertising.

Children's Privacy

Sleep Switch is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Data Retention

Because the app does not collect data, there is no app usage data retained by the developer. Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request and maintain business records.
